Dr. Graham's Family Life
Dr. Graham and his wife Maria, have been happily married over 25 years. They have three children, Chad, Caroline, and Casey. Dr. Graham and Maria first met while in dental school. They fell in love while Dr. Graham was in orthodontic school and Maria in dental hygiene school at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Dr. Graham's parents live in Meadville, Mississippi as does his younger sister, Dana, and her children. Dr. Graham's older brother is also a "Dr. Graham" in Plano, Texas, where Bob lives with his family and practices Internal Medicine.

Maria’s mother lives in Birmingham. Her father passed away in 2004 from complications of Lou Gehrigs Disease. Dr. Martinez taught Oral Pathology to most of the dentists in Alabama. Dr. Martinez's father was the Dean of the Dental School in Cuba; his grandfather was the first S.S. White Dental Products Salesman in Cuba - so a line of dentists continues.

Dr. Graham's daughter, Stephanie, lives in Memphis and has two children, a.k.a. Dr. Graham's grandchildren, Geordy and Hannah.

Dr. Graham enjoys family vacation trips, watersports (boating, seadooing, fishing, swimming and just messing around the lake), running, and coaching baseball and softball. Besides the fun of coaching, Dr. Graham has been very successful with the Little League "Minors" City Championship, Little League City and District Championships, Dixie Girls Ponytails Sub district Championship, and Huntsville Middle School Girls Softball City Championship.

The Grahams worship at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Community service, social organizations and children's school organizations fill the remaining time for the Grahams.

Practice Philosophy
Orthodontics is one of the best methods by which an individual can increase their degree of healthiness and self-esteem. Occasionally, orthodontics treats disease, such as temporomandibular joint dysfunction, but it is not a life or death situation. Our patients have made discretionary decisions, which may have been difficult, in order to choose what is "best" for themselves and their children. Obtaining "the best they can" is their goal and providing the best is our purpose.

I feel each patient deserves a thorough evaluation of their face, smile, bite, and jaw joints, because each are interrelated. Whether orthodontic treatment is sought for cosmetic or health reasons, the face and lips can be affected as well as the jaw muscles and jaw joints. From this evaluation, I present "the" treatment plan or plans which consider the quality attainable, expedience, patient comfort, and how long the results could be expected to remain stable. So much information is now available on the effects of ageing on the face, that my orthodontic plans, even for children, consider the immediate changes and what the results will look like in 15, 20, or 30 years. I do not do compromise treatment without the full disclosure of the consequences of such. I plan to practice orthodontics for a long time and the least problems for you are also the least problems for me. When you seek the best, and do your best, you can expect the best.

Dr. Limbaugh’s Background
Dr. Lindsay Durham Limbaugh was born and raised in Fort Payne, Alabama. She attended Auburn University, where she graduated in 1999 Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Microbiology, and received a Dental Merit scholarship to attend the University of Alabama School Of Dentistry in Birmingham.

As a dental student, Dr. Limbaugh held various offices including: President of the Alabama Association of Women Dentists, Student Government Association representative, member of the dental school’s Curriculum Committee, and Student Ambassador for the dental school. Dr. Limbaugh was also an active volunteer for the Special Olympics-Special Smiles program, the Colgate Smiles program, as well as a volunteer at the Sparks Clinic for special needs patients. Dr. Limbaugh led a campaign to create a “Dental Awareness” Girl Scout badge, and organized the Bread and Roses program, in which donations were collected and oral hygiene instructions were taught at local shelters.

Upon graduation from dental school in 2003, Dr. Lindsay Limbaugh was awarded numerous honors, including induction into the exclusive Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, was recognized for being on the Dean’s List each quarter during all four years of dental school, and received an additional five awards for scholastic achievement, clinical ability, and patient care: the Birmingham District Dental Society Overall Clinical Ability Award, the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award, the Psi Omega National Council Scholastic Achievement Award, the Quintessence Award for Academic Achievement, and the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Dental Student Award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership.

Dr. Limbaugh immediately entered the orthodontic residency program at the University of Alabama School Of Dentistry. She completed the three year residency program in April, 2006, earning her M.S. degree with her master’s thesis entitled, “Genetic Predisposition of Facial Growth Patterns: concordance among siblings.” In May, 2006, Dr. Limbaugh completed the Phase II written examination of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Limbaugh’s Family Life
Dr. Lindsay Limbaugh married her fellow classmate, Dr. Matt Limbaugh, a native of Huntsville, while in her orthodontic residency. Matt attended a two year General Practice Residency at UAB Hospital and then moved to Huntsville to begin his dental career, while Lindsay finished the last year of her orthodontic program. The Drs. Limbaugh enjoy being back in Huntsville in their home in Hampton Cove and are proud parents of their only son, Brady. During her free time, Dr. Limbaugh enjoys participating in community services and spending time with friends and family—most especially her baby boy. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and watching Auburn football.

Dr. Limbaugh’s parents reside in Fort Payne, Alabama, and her brother (who is also an orthodontist) and sister-in-law have recently moved to the area. This makes it easy for the whole family to get together quite often and spend special times together.

Orthodontic and Dental Involvement
While Dr. Limbaugh spends most of her office time dedicated to the treatment and well-being of her patients, she also feels it is necessary, and at the same time, rewarding to give back to the orthodontic and dental community. She presently serves as officer of the Huntsville-Madison County Dental Society, serves on various committees of the Southern Association of Orthodontists (SAO), and has recently completed the young Leadership Program of the SAO. She also actively participates in several dental study clubs and is a current, active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the SAO, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Women Dentists, the Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Association, and the 8th District Dental Society.
