Your initial visit allows us to get acquainted with you and learn about your orthodontic needs. A complete examination will be performed that will help lead to a diagnosis of your orthodontic problem. In order to arrive at a complete diagnosis of your orthodontic situation, diagnostic records may be taken which include study models of the teeth, photographs, and x-rays. In some cases, a separate consultation visit may be scheduled for presentation of the orthodontic diagnosis and a discussion of treatment options.

We will also discuss the type of appliances which may be used for your particular orthodontic problem. Many types of appliances exist and may be manufactured out of metal, ceramic, or plastic. Removable appliances such as retainers may also be used to perform simple tooth movements.

In addition, we will also discuss the various financial arrangements which we offer. If you have orthodontic insurance, it may cover a portion of the treatment cost. We offer flexible payment plans and financing options to accommodate your individual needs.

Appointments
We make every effort to schedule our patients so they are not kept waiting. To accomplish this, we schedule our procedures that require more time and attention in the morning and the shorter appointments in the afternoon. We appreciate as much notice as possible if one of our patients is not able to keep an appointment so we may try to schedule someone else at that time.
